The design merges two primary patterns:

The Zigzag (Chevron): Creates the structural backbone and rhythm of the border. It's dynamic and leads the eye along the length of the piece.

The Bud (or Fleur-de-Lis inspired motif): Sits at the apex of each zigzag "V," adding elegance, softness, and a traditional, natural touch.
