The Bunch: A self-contained, often symmetrical, unit of scrolls. The most common is an "S"-shape or a "C"-shape with a central spine, often adorned with leaves, flowers, or other decorative elements.

The Repeat: This unit is copied and flipped (mirrored) to create a seamless, flowing border. The end of one bunch connects gracefully to the beginning of the next.
