The "Blooming" Capital: Focus the floral detail at the top of the pillar. The petals can flare outward to meet the ceiling, mimicking a lotus or a lily.

The Climbing Vine: A spiraling "DNA" style wrap where flower petals wind around the cylinder. This looks best on tall, slender pillars.
