Central Vine or Stem: A flowing, s-curved line that serves as the backbone of the design.
Scrolls: Spiraling forms that curl off the main stem. These can be tight and formal or loose and flowing.
Petals/Leaves: Organic, tear-drop or paisley-shaped elements that emanate from the scrolls and the stem.
